Vector Mist is manufactured by Danamar, LLC, the leader in automatic insect control systems.  We are committed to providing our customers with the most effective mosquito and insect control systems possible.  We have off the shelf and custom units available to fit any need, from 55-gallon standard (automatic) and remote controlled residential units to 225-gallon heavy-duty dual pump units.  We sell complete ready to install packages as well as parts from which to build a system or simply replace old parts.  We also sell a range of botanical insecticides (including Pyrethrin and plant oil based formulations) as well as long lasting synthetic products for use in our misting systems.

Our customers include pest control companies, professional installers from the ranks of companies engaged in irrigation, pool construction, landscaping, outdoor lighting and fencing in addition to do-it-yourself homeowners. 

Danamar, LLC is located in Houston, Texas, a location known for its heat, humidity and of course, mosquitoes.  Danamar first entered this business 4 years ago to help alleviate the local mosquito problem on a location by location basis.  Large citywide and countywide eradication or control efforts were seen as insufficient to solve the individuals problem on his own property.  It was thought that along the gulf coast mosquitoes probably couldnt be completely eliminated but could be controlled in defined locations like individual back yards.  This is where large-scale insecticide spraying and larvicide water treatment had proven to be not entirely effective. 

Initially, a division of Danamar began to install equipment purchased from another manufacturer but quickly realized that it would have to develop its own product to achieve the proper combination of effectiveness, features, durability and usability.  As interest grew among companies who wished to install mosquito control systems as well as individuals who wanted to install their own, Danamar began to increase its production capability to satisfy this need and the Vector Mist brand was established.

Today, with the Vector Mist system, Danamar offers a product that is second to none because it incorporates all of the desirable features of any product of its type found on the market plus other features that are unique to our system. 

We are continuing to develop and improve our products to provide users with solutions that are more effective and more efficient.  For example, we have recently introduced a new generation of control units.  These units have dual microprocessors utilizing a computer program that is able to adjust the systems operation to current weather conditions.  In windy areas, such as near the beach, the control unit can be coupled with a wind sensor (anemometer) that will cause the unit to wait until wind speed is at an acceptable lever before operating.  This feature reduces operating cost while making the system more effective.
